People in the dating game in Florida will have a new marriage check to consider starting Tuesday.

Florida's clerks of court on that day will begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples. Florida becomes the 36th state to allow gay and lesbian marriages after a long series of legal battles ended with a judge's order that all Florida court clerks would issue licenses.

The page includes clerk's offices that offer specialty searches for marriages, such as Maimi-Dade and Broward. Those clerks who do not still provide those searches typically allow to find marriages through their official records searches. You should be able to limit your search to marriages by selecting them in the "document types" for the search.
