One way to check is through the Florida Department of Corrections database on released state prisoners. The search capability goes back to October 1, 1997. People who served time in a Florida prison were convicted of at least one felony offense, and this list includes people who left the state after release, which makes it valuable as a date check on people who used to live in Florida.
- Mugshot
- Stated address at the time of release
- Date of release from a Florida prison
- Aliases
- Scars, marks and tattoos
- Eye color, height, weight
- Date of birth
- Offense dates, offense types and county of offense
- Date in custody, date out of custody
- Incarceration history
This database is searchable by perimeters that include name, race, gender, height, weight, offense type, stated county of release upon arrest, county of committment and release facility. But your best bet is to cast the widest net possible by searching by first and last name. You can also search by alias.
