Does your date really own that sweet waterfront pad in Jacksonville? Check now!

Does your date own property in Jacksonville or the property claimed as owned?

A good way to find answers is through this site from the Duval County Property Appraiser's Office. Duval County includes the cities of Jacksonville (which is most of Duval County under the county's consolidated city-county government), Atlantic Beach,  Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach and Baldwin.

The site is searchable by your date's name or by property address. Results will show the last known owner of record (which can include spouses or significant others) along with the property address. A link is provided for the deed on the property, which may show additional property owners and whether the owner was married at the time of the property's purchase.

Other details include:

  • Whether the property use is a home or a business
  • Value for tax purposes
  • Taxable valuable
  • Estimated market value
  • Sales history (with links to deed filings)
  • Year built
  • Number of floors, bedrooms, bathrooms
  • Square footage of home
  • Legal description of property
  • Homestead exemption

A homestead designation on the property indicates the owner(s) claims this property as a primary residence. There is also a GIS Map feature and a link for mapping the property on Google Maps.
