Cops seek online dating Casanova who scams women in Florida and elsewhere
Women wanted James Charlton Davis III. So do the cops.
WFTS Tampa Bay reports that Polk County authorites want Davis in connection with a series of sweetheart scams. Notes the story:
“He may think he’s Casanova, but he’s headed to the county jail,” Public Information Officer Donna Wood said.
Wood said he is targeting women between the ages of 50 and 60. Authorities would not disclose what online dating sites Davis is using to deceive women. It is unclear where he lives. Wood said they believe there are victims in Florida, Maryland, West Virginia, and Texas.
“This man presents himself as being the person that they can live with forever,” Wood said.
