Many county sheriff's offices in Florida offer details about arrests and bookings, including smaller counties such as Suwanee.

Inspect jail bookings, mugshots, wanted people and more from Florida sheriff's offices

The domestic violence, assault, drug or other charge
that your love interest picked up today won't show up on the criminal background check you did last night.

That's why the InspectaDate links on this page to the latest arrest information from Florida county jails are particularly important for checking out your date.

Below are links to arrest, booking (including mugshots) and outstanding warrant details from Florida county sheriff's offices. Postings vary widely from county to county and change constantly. For instance, some counties provide details on jail guests released within the last year or beyond while others just list current prisoners and those booked in recent days.

In some cases, the databaes may not include everyone who was arrested and booked. Also, people are presumed innocent until proven guilty. And these sites won't tell you if charges got altered, dropped or dismissed later. To check on online availability for the current disposition of a charge or the outcome of a criminal case, try the criminal records links on the InspectaDate guide to county circuit court clerks' databases.

A great place to start for casting a broad net for previous convictions and criminal activity is the The InspectaDate now! links to the right. The Florida Department of Corrections' supervised probation database is especially helpful for alerting you to people who are out of prison but under probation and the state's watch. Also, if your date has lived in Florida for more than six months, consider spending the $24 for an online Florida Department of Law Enforcement statewide criminal background check. You'll get info within minutes. But keep in mind that even that record won't include someone who has had a criminal conviction expunged or sealed.

State law allows people who qualify to have some criminal arrests and convictions records sealed or removed. That can include people who were arrested and later had charges dropped. Each year in Florida, thousands of people a year do this, although the odds are far greater that your person of interest hasn't than has.

A private source that offers the ability to search various county jails and the state Department of Corrections at one time is VineLink. When this site is at full capabilities, it can feature searches for individual counties that do not post their own jail information on their own Web sites. But fewer details are provided than in cases where individual counties post their own jail inmate information.

More search options from Florida news organizations

Various news organizations in Florida provide jail guest mugshots and details from data systems of county sheriff's offices. An advantage to some of these is the ability to search more than one county at a time. Details provided, completeness, and posting frequencies vary.
